Balcas began as a sawmill in the 1960s. In the decades since then, the company has grown into two symbiotic businesses; sustainable timber products and renewable energy. Their message was complex - there were too many brands. Trips out with the sales team, research and interviews hammered home that it was time to simplify. Reducing the brands down to Balcas Timber and Balcas Energy, we support each with pillars of information, some internal - to engage and motivate 360 people located all over the UK & Ireland, some external - talking to customers and potential recruits. Balcas is a company driven by efficiency. That's why we know their commercial plan and it's why everything we design, create and write can be traced back to an agreed objective.
